Dispatch Policy
While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability. Goods are normally dispatched within 24 hours. If we are unable to dispatch your order within 3 days we will contact you by e-mail with an estimated dispatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order for a full refund or waiting for stock.
Orders on good contain goods that are out of stock will be put on back order until all items are available and you will be informed and given the chance to cancel your order for a full refund.
Integrated Pricing and Tax
Shipping Costs The price shown for the goods include postage and packing unless specifically stated that additional shipping charges apply. Any additional charges for postage and packing are shown in the Checkout once you have entered the country and method of delivery and before you are asked to confirm the order so you can see the total amount.
EU VAT When you have requested a delivery to an EU address, the price paid for the product and applicable delivery charges will include either Netherlands BTW/VAT, or the equivalent tax in the country to which the product is to be delivered.
Under the EU VAT Distance Selling Regulations VAT must be charged to deliveries within the EU at the appropriate rate for the country of destination. The country of taxation will be indicated in the order conformation e-mail you receive for your order. The applicable BTW/VAT numbers for Hone B.V is: NL861741833B01
Non EU When you request delivery to a Non-Eu Country address the products and the delivery service will be zero-rated. i.e not subject to Dutch BTW/VAT. The price paid by you for the products will be what is shown on the website. As no BTW/VAT has been charged, there is no tax reclaim available from us.
Where goods are delivered to destinations outside the EU these may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. The recipient of the goods is responsible for all customs formalities at importation, and will be required to pay any additional charges.
Invoices After the order is placed and payment provided, a confirmation that the Purchase is completed an Invoice showing any VAT and delivery information, as well as transaction details. This will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the Customer in the ordering process.
If you do not receive your order conformation or invoice, please check your spam filter on the supplied e-mail address, then e-mail contact@hone-shaving.com so we can look for your order and check it has been received.
Payment Currency
Please note that all transactions will be completed in Euros (EUR). International credit card providers or banks will determine the exchange rate if the standard currency of your card is something other than Euros. They may add an additional processing or administration charge which the cardholder will be liable to pay.
Cancellation and Returns
If you are not satisfied with the goods you have a right to return the goods and receive either a refund or replacement goods in the event of damaged goods. The information on how to cancel can be found on our 'Returns & Warranty' section. Please send an e-mail to us via our contact form before you return goods, telling us that you are returning the goods so we can action a refund quicker.
Online vouchers
Only one promotional voucher is permitted per order. Promotional voucher codes may only be redeemed on the Web Site toward the purchase or delivery of products. Please note that a minimum purchase may apply to voucher code promotions exclusive of postage and packing. Promotional vouchers cannot be used retrospectively, i.e. applied to orders already placed. Certain products may be exempt from voucher code promotions. Hone B.V. reserves the right to cancel / remove online voucher code promotions at any time. Please note that voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher offer.
Age Restricted Products
It is illegal to purchase razor blades and razors when under the age of 18 in certain territories. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are confirming you are over the age of 18 when buying these products.
Colors
The color of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors. In addition the choice of materials for Hone products is some times deliberate for the property of changing over time, such as bronze and brass which will naturally change color based on usage patterns and environmental influence. If you have any questions we can help with cleaning and looking after these materials please get in touch.
We try to take representative images of our products. Our website only contains photography, there are no digital renders of our products.
Confidentiality
All confidential information is held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties unless required to fulfil your order (i.e. shipping companies) and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act. No Credit Card details are stored by Hone. You can find more details in our Privacy Policy
Indemnity
Shaving by its nature brings you into close contact with very sharp blades. As a customer you understand that it is your responsibility to pay attention when using any Hone product and follow any instructions provided with Hone and with the blade manufacturer you choose. You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site and Hone products.
Information contained within the website should be regarded as information and it does not constitute advice, it should not be relied on in making a decision or to assist in deciding on a course of action.
Jurisdiction
The Contract will be governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
Consumer Rights
None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
